Sunset Surprise

I was almost ready to pack my things and be on my way home when the sky suddenly lit up in these brilliant colours from behind a cloud bank. The composition is somewhat unconventional since it has the center horizon and center subject. For some reason when it comes to reflections, I rarely go for the horizon on a third. Does it work in this case?
